Iris Adams, was assigned to be Alice tutor. She has one dream: Move from Castle Cove.
Suddenly, Catle Cove is shocked by the missing of Brooke Donovan. Later, they found out she had died. Everyone is pointing finger at Steve, but Alice isn't so sure. She has a theory but she had to prove it.
With 'Hercule Poirot' theory, Alice Ogilvie and Iris Adams cracked each secrets covered in Castle Cove. But it is bigger, than they expected....

B. Review
In here, the story is about Alice Ogilvie and Iris Adams adventure on solving the mystery. They believed that Steve is innocent, and they want to bring Brooke and Steve into justice.
Alice Ogilvie used to be part of "The Mains." Which is a popular kid group. But after the summer event, they started to look at her like a weirdo. Deep inside, Alice Ogilvie only wanted an adventurous life and try to find mystery. This was all influenced by Agatha Christie's novels she read. And everytime she didn't know how to act in a situation, she think what Agatha Christie would do. I kinda relate to her about this part, cause sometimes I used the book I read as a guide, lol. Although she might seem hate Brooke so much, she cared a lot for her. She was the first to contact Lillian Levy (Brooke Grandmother) to call the police.
Iris Adams the smart and satire. She act it cool, but actually she was very afraid of something...
The poor Iris Adams and her mom live in a small apartement by the sea. She have never liked The Mains, but after the case, Iris and Alice become very close. Iris needs Alice to solve the case, so that she could get the reward money from Lillian Levy. So that Iris and her mom can move far away from Castle Cove. Alice and Iris is a very different person. Alice wants to be seen, while Iris wants to work silently.
They put Agatha Christie quotes in almost every chapter. And usually, the quote relate with the chapter.
The book explained in detailed how they do it. Like sneaking into house, recording talk between the supects, etc. But some of it felt to unrealistic. One of the scene is they drugged one of the suspect, so they can search the house and they got away with it. It is the fictional part of course. The plot revolved around the case.
How about the plot? To be honest, I cannot guess it. Although there is two part, that actually gives you the clue to that person. Where it explains how the person might not like Brooke Donovan in a way. And of course, it is very thrilling and funny. The funny scene is when they try to impersonate a French person :).
